Tourism in Asia | Philippines | Peninsula de Punta Fuego

Sorry for the long period of update.. Anyways, Here's one of the best tourist spot from the island of the Philippines. Asian Tourist spot proudly presents you the fascinating beach resort from the city of Batangas: Peninsula de Punta Fuego.

Peninsula de Punta Fuego came from the word "Punta Fuego" which mean "Point of fire". It is composed of high-end residential beach front properties that is located at Batangas area, particularly Nasugbu Batangas.

Peninsula de Punta Fuego has a total of 88 hectare world class residential beach resort and was fully operational since 1999. It consists of Spanish to Mediterranean inspired villas, beach club, marina, a nine-hole golf course and a country club.

Punta Fuego was known for 800 meters of fine white sand and pristine clear waters making this the best swimming beach in Nasugbu Batangas. It was also known for the famous infinity pool. This was called infinity pool because it looks like it is connected from the ocean. The pool is made up of tiles that is similar to the color of the sky.

Tourism in AsiaAnother amazing tourist spot from one of the famous country that offers tourism in asia. Asian Tourist Spot presents to you, Carey Island or Pulau Carey. Carey Island is an island in Selangor, Malaysia. It is located to the south of the Asia's Distribution Hub (Port Klang) and north of Banting town. Carey Island is a huge island that are separated from the Selangor coast by the Klang River, connected by a bridge from Chondoi and Teluk Panglima garang near Banting. The said island was named after the former British civil service officer in Malaya.

Carey Island was knowned for its seafood such as crabs, prawns, and various fishes. The island was compromised largely of oil palm estates that were owned by Golden Hope Plantation. Tourists will also find native aboriginal tribe here that were called the Mah Meri. They were renowned for their traditional woodcarvings, depicting their ancestral spirits or what they called, moyang. The Mah Meri tribe is one of the aborigine Orang Asli tribes of Malaysia. They have accepted and live in modern life, with jobs in the nearby plantations and farms, but still their unique culture is intact.

Singapore

Tourism in Asia is increasing nowadays specially on Singapore. Singapore is our next stop here at asian tourist spot. Singapore is an island nation that is located at the southern tip of Malay Peninsula. Because of having 63 islands including mainland Singapore, it was truly one of the hottest spot for tourism in Asia.

Although Singapore is small in size, it still offeres a wide variety of sights and experiences to tourist. Reputated as a clean, green and orderly city, it stands out as a bustling city in Asia.

There are many tourist attractions from a well know tourism in Asia. These are the:

Orchard Road
It is located at the Southern part of Singapore. Orchard road is Singapore's premier shopping district. YOu can found here some luxury hotels with exotic malls that sells the latest international brands.

Sentosa Island
Singapore's one and only Island Resort, where you can find beautiful beaches. Sentosa Island is previously a military installation but now they converted Sentosa Island into a gigantic theme park.

The Zoo and Night Safari
Made for resident animals in Singpore to simulate their natural habitat. The Singapore Zoological Gardens is also one of the main tourist attractions in Singapore. The zoo includes a Night Safari wherein you may enjoy unique experience of exploring tropical wildlife jungle at night.

Singapore Science Centre
There are over 850 interactive science display depicting the beauty of science. The Singapore Science Centre is a fun and education hub for all young scientists and aspiring ones. A 5 storey building with 23 metre diameter hemispheric giant screen Omni-theatre that provides an immersive, premium cinematic experience.

Philippines | Puerto Galera

Puerto Galera is another famous tourist attraction from my favorite country, Philippines. Puerto Galera was located on the north shore of Mindoro Island, it is approximately 130 kilometers from the south of Manila. It consists of 12 coastal districts and one mountain district that are scattered all over the 23,247 hectares of land bordered on the north by Verder Island. Puerto Galera was famous among tourists for its large numbers of pocket beaches and snorkeling spots.

Puerto Galera is considered as one of the most beautiful and developed beach resort community in the Philippines. Tourism in Puerto Galera has started to flourished and one by one hotels, resorts, inns and restaurants have started too mushroomed within the area.

There are many things a tourist can do in Puerto Galera. Tourists can pitch tents, light bonfires, play beach volleyball, toss Frisbee, beach hopping, watch the sunset, star gazing, hiking and rock climbing. But still the main tourist attraction of Puerto Galera is its water. The crystal clear water is ideal for swimming, sailing, surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving.


Tourist Spots in Puerto Galera:

Sabang Beach was located at Sabang Village. Sabang Village is a highly developed place that offers nearly all kinds of facilities. It has large numbers of souvenir shops, sari-sari stores, open-air bars, and four discos in the center.

Small Lalaguna is located near Sabang Beach. Small Lalaguna is a quiet beach that has coral reefs close to the shore. Small Lalaguna is for sun bathing and snorkeling only, because of the rocks and corals that hinder the access to deeper water.

Big Lalaguna Beach is located at the westernmost of Small Lalaguna. Big Lalaguna is a bright and sandy beach with a simple tourist infrastructure.

Malaysia | Port Klang

From the Southeastern Asia I present to you Malaysia's Seafood center, Port Klang. Port Klang is the principal port in Selangor Malaysia. It is known as Malaysia's most developed region where the capital Kuala Lumpur is located.

Most of the locals head out to Bagan Hailam area wherein seafoods is good and relatively cheap. The village of Balam Hailam is a seaside village where good seafoods can be found. Most of the restaurants in this place are lined up along the seaside and most are built on stilts over water.

You can find also in Port Klang the largest halal food hub.

Malaysia

Malaysia is a country that also has plenty of tourist spots in Asia. Malaysia are consists of thirteen states and three federal territories in Southeastern Asia with a total of land area of 329,847 square kilometers. Malaysia's capital city is Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya as the seat of the federal government.

Malaysia's name was adopted in the year 1963 when the Federation of Malaysia, Singapore, North Borneo and Sarawak had formed the 14 state federation.The Philippines once contemplated to name their state "Malaysia" but Malaysia adopted the name first in 1963 before the Philippines could act further on the matter.

Malaysia was known as one of the fastest growing tourist spots in Asia. There are huge number of tourists from all over the world every year. Some of Malaysia's tourist attractions are Mulu Caves Natural Park. It is known as the longest networks of caves in the world. One of the well known caves Malaysia is the Sarawak Chamber. It is known as the largest underground chamber.

From the point of view of the tourist, beaches are the most popular of all the tourist spots. In Malaysia, there are lot of beaches that can be found.

One good example is the Pantai Cenang. It is known for its fine powdery sand beach fringed by coconut trees and casuarinas and it streches for 2kms and it is lined with a mix of resorts, luxury hotels, chalets and restaurants.

Another tourist spot is the Pantai Merdeka. It is in the Kuala Muda district that is about 30 kilometers from Sungai Petani. Pantai Merdeka atrracts huge numbers of crowds every weekends because of its long, white, sandy beaches.

In Kelantan, tourists can find the beach of the whispering breeze (Pantai Bisikan Bayu). It is located near Semerak in Pasir Putih. It is about 50 kilometers from Kota Baru. Its beach is shaded by tall casuarinas, making it an ideal tourist spot for picnic.

Damai Beach is also one of the wonderful beach can be found in Sarawak Malaysia. A combination of white sandy beaches facing the South China Sea and the luscious tropical rainforest walks and Mount Santubong dominating the horizon. A tourists will certainly be kept amused with the sorts of variety of entertainment pleasures and the glorious variety.

The best regional industrial park was also found in Malaysia. It is located in Port Klang Malaysia. It was previously managed by Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA), however it is taken over and rebranded by local company in 2007.

Philippines | Bohol


Another fantastic tourist spot in Philippines is Bohol. Bohol is an island province that is located in the heart of Visayas Region. Its capital is Tagbilaran City. With an area of 4117.3 square kilometers, Bohol was the 10th largest island in Philippines. Besides the beaches and resorts, Bohol was popular because of the chocolate hills and numerous mounds of limestone formations. Bohol was also the home of the world's smallest primate, the Philippine Tarsier.

Bohol Island is an oval-shaped mainland that are surrounded with 73 small islands. The interior uplands are good for agro-forestry and has a high value of agricultural production. There are over a hundred of caves that have been identified, the largest of them is found in the eastern part of Bohol.

Most of the beaches in Bohol are white sand. The white sand in Bohol are said to be exported to other beaches in the world. The most well known beaches are in Panglao Island, some of the islets are yet untouched and pristine beaches.

Loboc River is the most famous and it runs from the southeastern coast to the center of the island. Due to the River cruise, Loboc River was famous.

Philippines | El Nido

Another attraction from the Philippines is El Nido. Simply irresistable landscape and seacapes with hospitable people.

El Nido was known because it is the source of one of the most delicious soups that are usually found in Chinese restaurants. The Nido Soup consist of the bird nests that resides in the towering marble cliffs. But that's not it, El Nido's main attraction is having the most beautiful seacapes in the province of Palawan, also known as Philippines' last frontier. El Nido was also known as the island of the gods or the heaven on earth.

Another tourist attration in this place was the world's largest pearl that was discovered by a filipino diver in a giant Tridacna (mollusk) in the year 1934. The largest pearl was called the "Pearl of Lao-Tzu", it weighs 14lbs and it measures about 9.5 inches long an 5.5 inches in diameter. It is believed to be 600 years old and was valued at US$42 million as of May 1984.

El Nido consist of 45 islands and islets and the sourrounding sea present endless adventures for nature lovers. El Nido also have the majestic limestone cliffs that are over 200 million years old. The said asian tourist spot has 200 species of tropical fishes, more than 100 species of corals, and three species of endangered seaa turtles. It's forest host more than 100 species of birds and large of this populations are endemic to Palawan.

Adventures in El Nido

Island hoping is one of the famous tourist attraction at El Nido with over 50 beaches in the marine reserve of Bacuit Bay. Many places you could hire boats with packages that include tour guides and foods. You can also rent kayaks, paddle boats, windsurfing.

  • Miniloc Island consist of the tourist spot site which is the small lagoon and the big lagoon. The very best thing in this island is you don't have to go far to see the best view that the island could offer. You could simply view school of fishes with various colors that looks like a parade of platoon dancers in a color festival that creates pattern of colors and swirls.
    • Small Lagoon is a part of Miniloc Island that is located around the bend after the Miniloc house reef marks the spot where you could go kayaking. It is believe to be a cave whose roof collapsed millions of years ago and its inner chamber is now a pocket of swimming pool. It has crystal clear water and the only sound you could hear was the birds chirping.
    • Big Lagoon is located further northwest of Miniloc Island. It is only accessible during high tide. It's size is bigger than two football field and could reach beyond 60 ft. It is also believed to be a cave that lost its roof and it used to served as home of a dugong that was found in the late 1980's in the island of Palawan.
  • Secret Beach is another island wherein it is only accessible through a low, narrow opening that looks like any of the thousand of crevices in the limestone cliffs. Secret Beach is a patch of sand that serves as the flooring of a roofless cave. The best way to get in was snorkeling even though the underwater view is too dark at first. You will find a beach filled with corals, starfish, and colorful fishes after the roofless cave.
  • Snake Island is commonly mistaken to be a reptilian habitat. It is called snake island because of its s-shaped sandbar that spit from it. The said sandbar is only visible during low tide.
  • Dilimacad Island, sometimes called whale or helicopter island because of its shape. This island has white sand beach, snorkeling area, and an underwater tunnerl that is also a dive site.
  • Subterranean River National Park has a spectacular view of limestone karst landscape with an underground river. The said river contains a full mountain-to-sea ecosystem and has some of the most important forests in Asia.

Scuba Diving is also famous tourist attraction, as there are plenty of marine life and coral reefs.

El Nido is surely a majestic place to be. From the ageless marble cliffs to its white sandy beaches that has crystal clear water, it is surely the heaven on earth.

Philippines | Boracay

Boracay is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Philippines. It is a tropical island that is located 315km south of Manila and northwest corner of the island of Panay, and it belongs to the Western Visayas island-group, or Region VI of the Philippines. The said tropical island consist of different barangays of that is under the administrative control of the Philippine Tourism Authority in coordination with the Provincial Government of Aklan.The Boracay island is approximately 7km and it looks like a dog-bone with the narrowest spot being less tan one kilometer wide and has a total land area of 10.32 sq. km.


Boracay island has two primary tourism beaches, these are the white beach and the bulabog beach. Both are located on the opposite sides of the island's narrow central area. White beach is the main attaction of the island. It is ove 4km long and has lined with resorts, hotels, lodging houses, restauramts and other tourism-related business. While the Bulabog beach is the second tourism beach and the main attraction for windsurfing and kiteboarding. Bulabog beach came from the filipino word "bulabog" which means being disturbed. The bulabog beach was known for its high waves and the main attration here are windsurfing and kiteboarding.
